Version 2.7 of Dorman’s MULTi-FIT line of programmable TPMS Sensors provides additional application coverage for 2014 model year vehicles as well as enhanced options to program Dorman’s MULTi-FIT Sensors. In addition, the software updates includes an Ateq VT-55 enhancement for ID Cloning of Dorman DiRECT-FIT TPMS Sensors. The update, along with downloading instructions, is available for free at www.DormanTPMS.com.

According to Dorman, the MULTi-FIT Universal Sensor program provides technicians complete cloning capability using Dorman’s economical programming tool. MULTi-FIT sensors offer coverage for more than 95 percent of today’s vehicle mix, including European models not typically covered by other programs. Dorman’s increased coverage is achieved through only two SKUs. For repair shops struggling to capture a share of TPMS business, or not yet handling TPMS replacements, Dorman says the new MULTi-FIT Universal Sensor program offers a way to quickly succeed in a rapidly growing repair segment.

DiRECT-FIT, Dorman’s line of one-to-one replacement sensors, offers cloning capability in every Dorman sensor currently on the market. ID Cloning benefits the technician by eliminating the relearn procedure typically required when a new TPMS sensor, saving technicians an average of 30 minutes of valuable bay time.
