Dorman Products Inc. says it has launched a new software update that provides expanded application coverage.
Version 2.7 of Dorman’s MULTi-FIT line of programmable TPMS Sensors provides additional application coverage for 2014 model year vehicles as well as enhanced options to program Dorman’s MULTi-FIT Sensors. In addition, the software updates includes an Ateq VT-55 enhancement for ID Cloning of Dorman DiRECT-FIT TPMS Sensors. The update, along with downloading instructions, is available for free at www.DormanTPMS.com.
According to Dorman, the MULTi-FIT Universal Sensor program provides technicians complete cloning capability using Dorman’s economical programming tool. Dorman’s increased coverage is achieved through only two SKUs. DiRECT-FIT, Dorman’s line of one-to-one replacement sensors, offers cloning capability in every Dorman sensor currently on the market. ID Cloning benefits the technician by eliminating the relearn procedure typically required when a new TPMS sensor, saving technicians an average of 30 minutes of valuable bay time.
