Dorman Products has started 2014 off by releasing its January New Product Announcement featuring 329 new parts, 90 of which are exclusive formerly "Dealer Only" parts, according to the company.
Highlights of these new product opportunities include:
• A new offering of remanufactured Hybrid Drive Batteries. Dorman’s latest battery introductions provide coverage for Honda Civics from 2011-’03. These direct replacements are ready to install, include all electronics, and require no programming. • A popular spare tire hoist fitting various Buick, Chevy, GM and Oldsmobile applications from 2009-02. This direct replacement includes a coated finish to help reduce the corrosion commonly associated with the original hoist unit (P/N 924-509)
• An exclusive manifold clamp repair kit solution for various Cadillac, Chevy, GMC and Hummer trucks from 2007-’99. This repair kit easily repairs exhaust leaks without the need to remove broken manifold bolts – saving time and money, Dorman says. As a complete kit, this repair also includes all hardware needed to complete the installation. (P/N 917-107)
• A direct replacement turbocharger kit for Mazda CX-7s from 2012-07. This kit includes all gaskets and hardware needed for a complete installation. (P/N 917-151)
• An addition to Dorman’s growing line of third brake lamps that feature integrated LED bulbs offering up to 10 times more brightness than standard bulbs and include wire harnesses (where applicable). Thirty SKUs are now available, including coverage for Honda Civics from 2010-’06. (P/N 923-218)
• Steering shafts, sliding door rollers, tailgate latches, heater hose assemblies, transmission oil coolers and more.
