Dorman’s new VIN input field allows users to bypass the typical year/make/model search mode. By keying in a vehicle’s VIN, Dorman’s Google-driven search engine instantly refines the user’s search to match the specific vehicle to available corresponding Dorman part categories. While a complete VIN entry ensures an exact vehicle match, a partial VIN (using a minimum of the first five VIN digits) also can be used to initiate a broader search. Dorman says the addition of the VIN search field is the latest tool aimed at easily connecting customers with the parts they need. To date, Dorman currently offers more than 135,000 available parts.

In addition to the new VIN search, Dorman also has launched an entirely new mobile site. To view the mobile-optimized site, users can navigate to www.DormanProducts.com from their smartphone or mobile device, delivering the functionality of Dorman’s main website to an increasingly mobile base of users. Access to Dorman’s enhanced search result pages, category-specific microsites, social media outlets, tech support, video content and more is now easily available on the go, Dorman says.

Additional information on all of Dorman’s products is available on www.DormanProducts.com, via Dorman’s Facebook page, or by signing up for product alerts from Dorman’s Be-The-First-To-Know Program at: www.DormanProducts.com/Signup.
