Dill Updates Snap-In Tire Valves

Beginning this winter, Dill ACP snap-in valves will be manufactured with the date of manufacture laser etched into the rubber portion of the valve stem.

Dill strives to continuously improve our company by offering innovative new products and by improving the quality and design of existing products. Snap-in tire valves have become a commodity even though they are critical in maintaining the correct tire pressure.  As questions arise regarding the life of rubber components and as an effort to provide traceability for this product line, Dill is proud to announce a solution.

Beginning this winter, Dill ACP snap-in valves will be manufactured with the date of manufacture laser etched into the rubber portion of the valve stem.  Dill expects to begin shipping these in the 1st quarter 2010.  This unique date code will include the machine, year, month, and day of manufacture.  Figure 1 is a photo of this feature (9=2009, 7=July, N=14th).
