Delphi Product & Service Solutions is currently offering the Delphi Training Series, an instructor-led webinar training program. This free, four-course training shares proven techniques that will help shop owners and technicians.
“Cars coming into shops today are equipped with complex electronic systems that require a new level of education for technicians to ensure they can effectively diagnose and resolve issues,” Delphi instructor Dave Hobbs said. “We have specially designed these one-hour courses to help technicians and shop owners handle some of the most common topics facing the aftermarket today.”
The Delphi Training Series covers comprehensive information on helpful topics including relationship building and preventive maintenance, promoting and profiting from hybrids and reducing OBD II comebacks. The first webinar in the series, Diagnosing GDI – Gas Direct Injection, is now available to view on demand.
The series will continue on June 29 with a live webinar on increasing car count and profits. Hobbs will provide tested techniques on building relationships, educating vehicle owners and creating preventive maintenance plans that fit customers’ lifestyles.
Two additional lives webinars will follow. First, on Aug. 12, Hobbs will show technicians how to bring hybrid owners into their shops and keep them returning each year for safe, accurate and profitable service. On Sept. 9, Hobbs will help technicians sort out the engineering complexities from the simpler side of Mode $06 to put this powerful scan tool function to real world practical use.

Delphi offers 24 instructor-led courses covering a variety of topics, including hybrid electric vehicle diagnosis and advanced fuel training. In addition, the DelphiAutoParts YouTube channel features educational videos, including the Delphi Fuel How-To Series, which covers subjects such as repairing a fuel tank, conducting a voltage drop test and testing the alcohol content of gasoline.
