Dayco To Showcase PowerBond Diesel Performance Harmonic Balancers At PRI 2014

To cater to the growing diesel-fueled passenger truck market, Dayco Products announced it will showcase its newly added PowerBond Diesel Performance Harmonic Balancer product line during the Performance Racing Industry’s (PRI) annual trade show, Dec. 11-13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind.

Designed as a high-performance alternative for diesel powered passenger trucks, PowerBond by Dayco Diesel Performance harmonic balancers feature a strong billet steel ring and hub construction, ultra-reliable PowerBond Race Series pressure-bonded technology and are SFI-approved for race use. The Diesel Performance harmonic balancer line is available for the most popular Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge and Ford diesel engines.

“We know the diesel-fueled passenger truck market continues to increase, and along with that is the demand for high-quality replacement parts for those diesel engines,” said Doug Smith, regional sales manager for Dayco. “Similar to the traditional V8 market, rotating assembly parts are becoming more popular and engines are working harder to generate more horsepower. These race situations stress the engine components and create harmonics, which are detrimental to the engine’s performance and can possibly cause premature failure. With a PowerBond Diesel Performance Balancer, customers can ensure their engines will perform at their best while lasting longer.”

Dayco currently offers 13 part numbers in its Diesel Performance line covering nearly 6 million vehicles-in-operation. The PowerBond by Dayco harmonic balancer product line also includes Premium OE Replacement, Race Series, Street Performance, Race Performance, Supercharger, Underdrive and Overdrive harmonic balancers. All PowerBond by Dayco harmonic balancers utilize advanced, pressure-bonded dampening technology for increased rubber strength and durability, the company adds.

To view the complete line of PowerBond by Dayco harmonic balancers, visit booth No. 814 during the PRI Show Dec. 11-13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind.
