CORSA Performance Exhausts and Fidanza are Supporting Sponsors of Performance Driving School

CORSA Performance Exhausts and Fidanza recently announced their status as supporting sponsors of Performance Driving School, which encompasses the Viper Racing League (VPL), Neon Racing League (NRL) and Viper Days, Inc.

CORSA Performance Exhausts and Fidanza recently announced their status as supporting sponsors of Performance Driving School, which encompasses the Viper Racing League (VPL), Neon Racing League (NRL) and Viper Days, Inc.

The Ohio-based manufacturers will also serve as featured product suppliers — high-performance exhaust systems from CORSA Performance Exhausts; flywheels, flex plates, cam gears, clutches and short shifters from Fidanza — for participants in the Performance Driving School racing league events.

Fidanza is entering its third year of Performance Driving School sponsorship while CORSA begins its sixth.

The Performance Driving School offers the opportunity for Viper, Corvette and other high-end, late-model performance vehicle owners to explore the limits of their cars and themselves as drivers in a legal, highly disciplined and safe environment via three different event components; a high-performance driving school, a timed solo competition and participation in a performance racing league.

"Fidanza’s racing-bred designed flywheels and CORSA’s technologically advanced exhaust systems allow our drivers to perform at a higher level of competition," said Skip Thomas, owner and promoter, Performance Driving School. "We are proud of our long relationship with these companies and look forward to working with them in the future as they continue to develop superior products."

Thomas worked with the engineers at CORSA and Fidanza to help develop the exhaust systems and flywheels used in his organization’s racing leagues.

As part of the sponsorship deal, participating Performance Driving School racing league drivers using Fidanza and CORSA products gain contingency points toward the season championship.

"It’s advantageous for Performance Driving School competitors to use these products, not only because of their performance enhancing attributes, but also since the racing results often get very close," said Thomas. "We’ve had championships decided by one or two points, so the contingency program can really make a difference in a driver’s win record."

"We’re thrilled to continue our sponsorship," said Jim Browning, Sr., founder and president, CORSA Performance Exhausts. "Our close involvement with this popular and growing group offers an ideal opportunity to publicize our leading-edge technology to a broad group of racers."

"This sponsorship is a great way to get our product into the hands of enthusiasts who can experience the performance difference our components offer," said Bob Scheid, vice president, Fidanza. "We look forward to continuing this mutually rewarding relationship as the Performance Driving School continues to grow."
