Congratulations to the 11 Winning Companies of the TechShop 2013 Top 5 Tools Award!

TechShop -- Equipment, Tools & Supplies magazine has announced the winners of its 2013 Top 5 Tools Award. Eleven manufacturers were awarded this year's honor.

TechShop – Equipment, Tools & Supplies magazine has announced the winners of its 2013 Top 5 Tools Award. Eleven manufacturers were awarded this year’s honor. They are:

Actron

AIRCAT

Cornwell Quality Tools

Ingersoll Rand*

Mac Tools

Matco Tools*

Miller Electric Mfg. Co.

OTC*

Power Probe*

SK Hand Tools

Snap-on*

*These companies have won a Top 5 Tool award every year since 2005.

Award winners are determined based on the number of times a company or product is mentioned by shop owners and technicians in the January 2013 through December 2013 issues of TechShop in the Top 5 Favorite Tools section.

Because the winners of the Top 5 Tools Award are picked by the readers of TechShop magazine, it is the only true equipment and tool award chosen by the ultimate customer — the end-user technician or shop owner. It is real recognition of a company’s exceptional brand strength, technological leadership and product innovation by the people who matter most — their customers.

TechShop’s devoted readers know the importance of innovative tools,” said Associate Publisher Sean Donohue. “They are immersed in the auto repair market and their feedback helps other technicians do their jobs more efficiently. Their opinions also fuel the new tools that will impact the market in the future.”

The winning companies will be presented a Top 5 Tool Award star trophy, and will also be announced in the December issue of TechShop to our 100,000+ repair shop recipients and tool and equipment distributors.
