Chilton, part of Cengage Learning and an established leader in reference sources for automotive professionals and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) automotive enthusiasts, recently introduced a newly redesigned website (www.chilton.cengage.com). The website is the main access hub to Chilton’s products and customer service team and has been updated with a user-friendly design that improves the user experience.
Chilton’s website, www.chilton.cengage.com, is now designed to make it faster and easier to find information by structuring it around the specific needs of professional, do-it-yourself, library and custom customers. The refined Chilton navigation makes it easier to locate key tools and resources. These resources include:
• New quick links to Chilton’s YouTube and Facebook pages – allows users to seek automotive advice, search relevant articles and communicate with other automotive enthusiasts. In addition, Chilton’s experienced team of editors is available to answer questions and discuss related topics on the Facebook page.
• Quick link to the Chilton Community site, an online community open to anyone with an interest in automobiles. The Community site provides the latest automotive industry news as well as blog posts authored by Chilton editors on a variety of automotive topics. An RSS feed from the Chilton Community site is now displayed on the Chilton main landing page to inform visitors of the latest topics being discussed.
• Increased search functionality of the site powered by Google, helping customers to easily find the product or topic they are looking for.
“This redesigned website allows our customers to seamlessly access our full range of products and services while catering to the individual needs of our diverse customer base,” said David Koontz, publisher, Chilton. “In addition to all of these upgrades and enhancements, the website will continue to offer the same access to valuable customer service.”
