The “early-bird” registration deadline for the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) is Sept. 20. Members and nonmembers who register for the full CARS package can take advantage of significant savings. CARS 2007, sponsored by the Automotive Service Association (ASA), will be held Nov. 1-3 at the Flamingo Las Vegas.
Online registration is available on the CARS website (www.CARSonline.org) and will be open until Oct. 24, but only those who register by Sept. 20 will receive the discount. Attendees may use the secure online form to register for numerous activities including technical training and management education, as well as arrange housing accommodations at the Flamingo Las Vegas. The CARS website also includes a list of exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, presentations and more.
CARS provides several networking opportunities, including the Service Professionals Industry Reception co-sponsored by ASA and the International Automotive Technicians’ Network (iATN), and an exhibitor showcase featuring the latest in automotive products and services. CARS is “the meeting place for Automotive Service and Repair Professionals” and is the premier event of ASA’s Mechanical Division, featuring 12 technical classes and four Automotive Management Institute-approved management courses.
“If you are looking for technical training, management education and networking, then CARS is the place to be,” said Robbie Addison, ASA’s Mechanical Division manager. “All of this, plus a great exhibitor showcase offering new and exciting vendors and products under one roof makes CARS 2007 the meeting place for automotive service and repair professionals.”
The Automotive Service Association is the largest not-for-profit trade association of its kind dedicated to and governed by independent automotive service and repair professionals. ASA serves an international membership base that includes numerous affiliate, state and chapter groups from both the mechanical and collision repair segments of the automotive service industry. ASA’s headquarters is in Bedford, TX.
