Bosch Partners with Popular Radio Hosts to Deliver Informative Public Outreach

The hosts of these popular automotive radio shows will present informative audio clips, vignettes and interviews with Bosch experts.

Bosch has launched a major radio public relations outreach program, partnering with the Automotive Experts Radio Network (AERN) and popular automotive radio personalities to inform the public about oxygen sensors.

The radio shows and hosts are:
• “Bobby Likis Car Clinic” with Bobby Likis
Saturday, 10 am to noon
(www.carclinicnetwork.com)

• “Sam’s Garage” with Sam Memmolo
Saturday, 9 am to 11 am
(www.samsgarage.com)

• “The Car Show” with Roger Kwapich, Dan Pietras and Steve Stewart
Saturday, 9 am to 11 am
(www.thecarshow.com).

The hosts of these popular automotive radio shows will present informative audio clips, vignettes, and interviews with Bosch experts. The shows will discuss what oxygen sensors are, how they work, what they do, how they affect drivability, emissions and fuel economy and the reasons they need to be checked regularly and replaced when needed.

The PR outreach program featuring Bosch oxygen sensors began in September. All of the shows air on Saturday mornings on affiliate radio stations throughout the United States, and can also be heard live on each host’s Web site.

“These shows reach listeners who are very interested in keeping their vehicles in top operating condition. The hosts are highly respected personalities, and we are confident that the inclusion of our products in their programming will educate their listeners on this key engine management component and lead them to specify Bosch oxygen sensors at their parts store or repair shop,” said Pam Krebs, director of advertising and sales promotion for Bosch.

“Oxygen sensors are critical, sophisticated devices. Bosch invented the automotive oxygen sensor, and makes millions of them for Asian, Domestic and European vehicles every year. We’re pleased to be able to share our expertise through these popular radio programs and personalities,” Krebs added.
