Bosch Aftermarket NA To Contribute $1,000 To Charity For Team Penske Victory At 57th Daytona 500

Bosch Automotive Aftermarket North America has announced it will donate $1,000 to charity each time one of its sponsored teams scores a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win during the 2015 season. Winning teams from Hendrick Motorsports, Team Penske and Joe Gibbs Racing will designate the charities they wish to support.

In this first week of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Bosch congratulates Joey Logano and Team Penske for getting their Bosch-equipped No. 22 Ford to Victory Lane at Daytona International Speedway in the 57th running of the Great American Race. In honor of the win, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket North America will contribute $1,000 to the Joey Logano Foundation.

With 36 points races comprising the NASCAR Sprint Cup Season, plus the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race on May 16, Bosch is poised to donate up to $37,000 to worthy charitable organizations across the country.

“Bosch is proud to support the charities of the NASCAR teams who rely on us to help get them to Victory Lane,” said Tony Pauly, director of advertising and brand management for Robert Bosch LLC, Automotive Aftermarket North America. “Every NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race showcases the extreme quality and endurance of Bosch products as well as the incredible skills and talents of our teams’ drivers. We look forward to supporting their dedicated efforts both on and off the track.”

Bosch involvement in motorsports dates back to the early 1900s. The company has been equipping NASCAR teams with parts and technical advice since 1991. In 2012, when NASCAR made the move from carbureted engines to more efficient fuel injected engines, Bosch became the sport’s exclusive oxygen sensor supplier. Today, several of the biggest NASCAR teams depend on Bosch technology and quality parts, such as oxygen sensors, spark plugs, alternators, injectors, coils, filters, fuel pumps, starters and pressure regulators – all aimed at getting them across the finish line first.
