Bardahl Manufacturing Corp. has launched a new website with a more modern brand image and a greater emphasis on its long heritage in motorsports. The company also has officially launched two new product lines.
The new website was designed to meet the needs of multiple audiences and provides all the information a consumer needs to select the right product to service their vehicle, as well as all the data a retail distributor would need to manage the product line within their company. From the homepage, the website is divided into five sections with windows and drop down menus for easy navigation. The first section provides a corporate overview and the company’s 75 years of history. The second section includes the new retail product line designed for the DIY consumer market and the third section includes the Protex by Bardahl professional product line that is exclusive for installers. The fourth section outlines the company’s global operations in more than 90 countries with links to Bardahl operations around the world. The fifth section is entitled “Bardahl On The Go!” and includes news and events, specials and promotions and Bardahl Racing, with links to YouTube videos and other motorsport sites.
Phase two of the website will include a Bardahl online store that will sell all types of items with the Bardahl logo and links to auction sites that sell Bardahl collectables and memorabilia. In addition, more racing and car club content will be added and the website will be available in both Spanish and French.
The new retail line includes several niche products that address the unique needs of newer vehicles, including solutions to improve performance in regard to GDI and CRDI systems, E85 ethanol blends and biodiesel fuels. A Special Duty line will offer products directed at the weekend recreational consumer with fuel system conditioners and engine additives for larger vehicles, including big pick-ups, RVs and SUVs, and the smaller ATVs and UTVs that they haul to the mountains, deserts and beaches.
Bardahl celebrated several milestones in 2014. In August, Ole Bardahl, the company founder was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in Detroit. In October, Bardahl was appointed as a sponsor and the official oil and lubricant supplier to the LeMay Car Museum. In September, the company celebrated its 75th anniversary.
Bardahl is still a family owned company that manufactures and distributes its products worldwide from its plant and headquarters located in Seattle.
