Automotive Training Managers Council Sets Fall Conference Agenda

The field seminar, "The Entry-Level Pathway for the International Technician" from International Truck and Engine, a tour of Universal Technical Institute (UTI), and keynote speaker Mac Fulfer are just a handful of the highlights at the Automotive Training Mangers Council (ATMC) Fall 2006 Conference and Business Meeting to be held September 10-12 at the Sheraton Four Points - Chicago O'Hare, in Schiller Park.

The field seminar, “The Entry-Level Pathway for the International Technician” from International Truck and Engine, a tour of Universal Technical Institute (UTI) and keynote speaker Mac Fulfer (http://www.amazingfacereading.com), who will conduct an engaging and interactive session on “face reading,” are just a handful of the automotive industry-related highlights at the Automotive Training Mangers Council (ATMC) Fall 2006 Conference and Business Meeting to be held September 10-12 at the Sheraton Four Points – Chicago O’Hare, in Schiller Park.

The theme for the Fall conference is “Training for Technical Diversity,” and the conference sessions include presentations on “The Energy Literate Technician,” “Training Technicians and Clean Fuel,” “First Responders and Hybrids” and “Electronic Control Systems for Clean Diesels.”

The Fall conference starts with a reception dinner cruise on September 10 aboard the Mystic Blue on Lake Michigan and includes its renowned “Training Vendors Mini Expo” where attendees can talk directly with training vendors on the latest products and services for our industry. An optional networking dinner wraps up the conference at renowned Miller’s Pub in downtown Chicago.
