ATEQ Announces Mitsubishi TPMS Reset Tool

With the introduction of the MitsuReset tool, shops now have a low-cost, simple solution for performing TPMS relearns on Mitsubishi vehicles without the need for a scan tool.

ATEQ Corp., a global manufacturer of high-quality TPMS diagnostic tools, has announced the release of the new Mitsubishi TPMS re-learn module, the MitsuReset tool. According to ATEQ, until now, the Mitsubishi Lancer, Outlander and Mirage required the use of an expensive scan tool coupled with a TPMS trigger tool in order to reset their TPMS system.

With the introduction of the MitsuReset tool, shops now have a low-cost, simple solution for performing TPMS relearns on Mitsubishi vehicles without the need for a scan tool, ATEQ says. Other TPMS tools require users to use a second trigger tool while the primary tool is connected to the OBDII port of the car. ATEQ’s standalone MitsuReset allows users the freedom to use any other TPMS trigger tools like the ATEQ VT55 diagnostic tool, the ATEQ VT30 or VT15 trigger tools.

Features of the MitsuReset Tool include:
• Standalone, one-touch TPMS re-learn module.
• Enables Mitsubishi Lancer, Outlander and Mirage TPMS learn mode.
• Fully updatable via computer.
• Compatible with all TPMS trigger tools capable of triggering Mitsubishi sensors.

The product will be available in the second quarter of 2014. For more information, visit www.ateqtpm.com.
