The Automotive Service Association (ASA) recently enhanced its online store, featuring new graphics and improved shopping security.

Accessed through the Members Only section of www.ASAshop.org, the ASA Online Store offers members the ability to purchase business aids, reference materials, workplace posters, training materials, ASA insignia products and consumer education brochures 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A photo and description accompany each item, and related products are also recommended when appropriate.

The site’s new platform is designed to provide an improved online shopping experience for members. The store offers complete e-commerce features, including a shopping cart mechanism and secure online credit card transaction capabilities.

“ASA takes online security and privacy issues very seriously,” said Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive. “Legislation, a focus on security issues and improvements in website platforms drive us to continually reassess our online products.” Enhancements to the site allow greater flexibility regarding design, yet continue to provide a high level of shopper privacy and security.

Members may access the ASA Online Store by logging into the Members Only section of www.ASAshop.org with their six-digit member number. Once there, ASA members can enjoy exclusive savings on products such as training DVDs and videos, and OSHA-compliance and safety-related workplace posters. Members may also purchase ASA-branded materials, including consumer education brochures, student career fliers, and ASA signage and clothing.

In addition to the ASA store, the ASA website also provides visitors with access to consumer tips; ASA’s popular shop locator that lists all ASA regular members; and the new ASA Marketplace, which showcases the association’s member benefits portfolio. To learn more about ASA’s dedication to service and repair professionals, the benefits of ASA membership and how to join, visit www.ASAshop.org or call (800) 272-7467, ext. 295.
