AMSOIL Reformulates Synthetic Water-Resistant, Multi-Purpose Greases

AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease and Synthetic Water-Resistant Grease have been reformulated to provide even better protection and performance in a wide range of applications.

AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease and Synthetic Water-Resistant Grease have been reformulated to provide even better protection and performance in a wide range of applications. According to the company, both are formulated with calcium sulfonate complex thickeners, allowing for improved extreme-pressure properties, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, high-temperature stability and water resistance.

AMSOIL Synthetic Water-Resistant Grease is an extreme-pressure grease formulated specially for wet-duty performance. It provides exceptional film strength, shear resistance, adhesion properties and mechanical stability. Excellent corrosion protection seals metal surfaces and chemically fights corrosion. Its water wash-out and spray-off resistance are outstanding for applications frequently exposed to mud, water, snow or ice such as ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles and boat trailers, according to AMSOIL.

AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease is qualified against the highest grease standards, the company says. Formulated with oil-soluble extreme-pressure additives for heavy loads, it provides excellent load-carrying and EP performance. Oxidation and corrosion inhibitors provide excellent oxidation stability, a high-temperature dropping point and outstanding low-temperature torque value and pumping capability. It resists thermal and oxidation degradation, prolonging equipment life.
