American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) launched a new aftermarket driveshaft components product line at the 2005 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. This new aftermarket product offering is featured in AAM’s new Driveshaft Components catalog, which includes: slip yokes, weld yokes, flange yokes, double cardan joint assembly kits, U-joint assembly kits and miscellaneous driveshaft support components. Illustrations of the components are incorporated into the catalog as well as application and specification data to assist customers in determining which parts will best suit their needs. These components are available through a network of North American distributors. The AAM Driveshaft Components catalog also features tips on driveshaft balancing and universal joint replacement.

“The same focus and intensity that AAM applies to providing high-quality components to our original equipment customers has been applied to the development of the products that we have available in the replacement parts marketplace,” said AAM Vice President, Sales & Marketing Steven Proctor.

"The new AAM aftermarket driveshaft components product line, in addition to our existing aftermarket axle components product line, provides customers with a direct source for aftermarket components with original equipment quality. It gives customers an assured supply of the right parts and strong full-service support," says AAM Business Unit Manager, Aftermarket, Bill Sheehan.
