Akebono has launched a new program for technicians called the "Akebono Brake Experts Alliance." The new program was developed to help drive Akebono brake business to shops and ensure quality repairs in the process.

Akebono has launched a new program for technicians called the “Akebono Brake Experts Alliance.” The new program was developed to help drive Akebono brake business to shops and ensure quality repairs in the process.

According to the company, the program will help technicians deliver expert repairs, reduce comebacks, boost profits and keep customers happy and coming back for more service.

There are two levels of membership:

  • The basic membership includes an exclusive Akebono Brake Experts Alliance member certificate, two Akebono Brake Experts hats, mirror hang tags, paper floor mats and a choice of two promotional items (poster, countermat, bay banner, or brochures and brochure display).
  • The premium membership includes all of the above, plus two additional hats, an exclusive Akebono clock and a $25 rebate when four Akebono Ultra-Premium pad sets are purchased from their distributor.

Plus, both packages entitle members to a complimentary set of Akebono Pro-ACT brake pads.
