ACDelco-Licensed 8v Power Tool Platform Wins Award

The ACDelco-licensed 8v platform of power tools includes Li-ion drill/driver, Li-ion LED flashlight and Li-ion 3/8" impact wrench.

Proving that a smaller, more nimble package can still make big power, the ACDelco-licensed 8v platform of power tools has been named Best New Platform by the website Tools in Action.

“ACDelco saw the need to get high torque into tight areas for mechanics and designed the new 8v lineup. With 12v-like power, the ARI810 fits into the smallest of spaces and breaks free the most stubborn bolts,” wrote the website’s editors.

The ACDelco-licensed 8v power tool lineup includes:
• Li-ion drill/driver (ARD847; 1.2 lbs.) with maximum torque of 111 in.-lbs., torque adjustment collar, automatic spindle lock, and built-in, super-bright LED;
• Li-ion LED flashlight (ARL836), with up to eight hours of run time, built-in magnets for attaching to metal surfaces, and anti-slip soft grip; and
• Li-ion 3/8-in. impact wrench (ARI810T; 1.2 lbs.) with category-leading maximum torque of 75 lb.-ft., faster speed applications, responsive VSR switch, and built-in, super-bright LED.

The entire ACDelco-licensed lineup of more than 60 power tools and accessories includes impact, ratchet and torque wrenches, drill/drivers, polishers, grinders and work lights – available in air, cordless and digital models.

ACDelco-licensed power tools and accessories are available from authorized distributors. For more information on the full lineup of and how to purchase, visit www.acdelco-tools.com
