Purolator Partners With CarCareKiosk To Feature Cabin Air Filters

More than 80 percent of new cars sold in the United States and Canada are now equipped with a cabin air filter, making cabin air the fastest-growing segment in the filtration industry.

purolator-logo-revisedPurolator has announced a six-month partnership with the DIY automotive website, CarCareKiosk, to be the exclusive sponsor of all cabin air filter installation videos on the site. These videos feature step-by-step instructions on how to install cabin air filters on select vehicle makes and models.

More than 80 percent of new cars sold in the United States and Canada are now equipped with a cabin air filter and that percentage continues to increase at a rapid pace – making cabin air the fastest-growing segment in the filtration industry. However, cabin air filter replacement is one of the most overlooked vehicle maintenance items. This can quickly become an issue, as cabin air filters are an important barrier between contaminants in the outside air and occupants inside the vehicle, according to Purolator.

The PurolatorONE line of cabin air filters are designed with multiple fiber layers to block allergens, bacteria, mold and particulate matter that enter a vehicle’s ventilation system while driving. These filters also play a role in protecting vehicles’ air conditioning (AC) systems, therefore it is important to replace them during AC servicing.

“Partnering with CarCareKiosk provides a great opportunity to demonstrate that cabin air filter replacement is a simple, yet necessary part of routine vehicle maintenance, and to teach the automotive DIY audience how they can do it themselves,” said Tina Davis, senior marketing and brand communications manager for the automotive aftermarket for MANN+HUMMEL Purolator Filters LLC. “CarCareKiosk serves as an excellent channel to increase product awareness and drive demand for PurolatorONE cabin air filters at the retail level.”

CarCareKiosk is a comprehensive automotive DIY website that provides “how-to” videos for more than 700 vehicle makes and models – covering everything from cabin air filter replacement to tire rotation to fixing fluid leaks. The site receives 2.2 million unique monthly visitors, with a majority identifying as “DIYers.”

All cabin air filter installation videos can be viewed on carcarekiosk.com, as well as Purolator’s website at pureoil.com.
