NovaPacific Introduces Upgrades To OE-Grade Water Pumps

The company says the design upgrades will help improve product performance, reliability and efficiency while still meeting OE operational specifications.

NovaPacific Inc., a manufacturer of OE-grade automotive water pumps, has announced it has completed design upgrades for a number of its OE-grade water pump product lines. The company says these design upgrades will help improve product performance, reliability and efficiency while still meeting OE operational specifications.

Specifically, NovaPacific pumps may include one or more of the following upgrades:

• Welding Pulleys: For some special models, the welding pulleys have been redesigned to include integrated forged pulleys, which will eliminate the risk of the pulley breaking apart during operation
• Metal Hubs: When used with some special models, the powder metal hubs have been upgraded to steel hubs
• Bearings: All bearings have been upgraded to case-hardened steel
• Impellers: In some special models, impellers that had been constructed of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) will now be constructed of aluminum in order to reduce the potential for the impeller to break or fall off during operation

NovaPacific water pumps are ISO/TS 16949:2009 certified by TUV and are available through automotive distributors and retailers.
