MAHLE Service Solutions recently donated an A/C service machine to the automotive technology program at Santa Barbara City College as part of a May 21 heavy-duty A/C clinic at Miramar College in San Diego, presented by the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS). Thirty-five technicians of all ages attended the clinic, which was solely sponsored by MAHLE Service Solutions.

“Receiving the A/C machine from MAHLE Service Solutions was a huge surprise and a bonus for attending the MACS training event,” said Stockero. “It will be given to my automotive technology program in Santa Barbara and my students will benefit the most.”

The ArcticPRO ACX1180C is the OEM heavy-duty commercial version of the MAHLE Service Solution’s popular ACX1180. The company says the ACX1180C produces faster service times and higher service accuracy for heavy-duty OEM-style A/C servicing and is hybrid certified. It features an integrated printer, three temperature sensors and four pressure sensors, a micron sensor providing greater system diagnostic capabilities, a factory-installed heater belt and a 50-lb internal cylinder to service larger commercial vehicles.
