Bosch has been named the world’s most admired motor vehicle parts supplier for the third consecutive year by Fortune. Fortune’s 2017 World’s Most Admired Companies list is based on surveys from executives, directors and securities analysts from 680 companies within 51 industries located in 28 countries, and is derived from nine key reputation attributes. In the motor vehicle parts supplier category, Bosch leads in all nine reputation attributes: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, quality of products and services and global competitiveness.
In Fortune’s Global 500 list, Bosch ranks among the top 100 companies, having moved up to 87 in 2017 from 150 in 2016.
“The Bosch team is incredibly proud to consistently be recognized by Fortune among the world’s most admired companies,” said Mike Mansuetti, president of Robert Bosch LLC. “The passion and dedication of our employees allow us to create a wealth of advanced innovations that are helping to drive the automotive industry forward in new and exciting ways.”
Fortune calls the World’s Most Admired Companies list “the definitive report card on corporate reputations.” Korn Ferry Hay Group has collaborated with Fortune for the past 20 years to uncover the business practices that make these companies highly regarded among their peers.
