It provides effective heat transfer and enhanced corrosion protection, resulting in more efficient operation and increased horsepower.
AMSOIL Dominator Coolant Boost is formulated with proprietary tiered surfactant technology, providing quick and effective heat transfer inside radiators and cylinder heads. It contains a robust mixture of corrosion inhibitors that offer maximum protection for the radiator, heater core, water pump, cylinder heads, engine block and intake manifold.
In a Temperature Reduction Dynamometer Test, water treated with Dominator Coolant Boost provided a 19°F temperature reduction. It also easily passed the Aluminum Corrosion Test (ASTM D-4340) with a weight loss of 0.14 mg/cm2/wk2, where weight loss of less than one milligram is required to pass. In the Metal Corrosion Test (ASTM D-2570), which tests corrosion in all metals common to cooling systems, AMSOIL Dominator Coolant Boost also showed a significantly reduced weight loss.
Dominator Coolant Boost is recommended both for racing applications using straight water coolant and automotive applications using 50/50 coolant/water mixtures.
