The Power of the Pellets: Bar's Leaks Original Formula Protects Radiators Around the World

January 7, 2010

Bar’s Leaks Heavy Duty Radiator Stop Leak is the original pelletized formula that has protected hundreds of millions of vehicles worldwide since 1947. It solves most common cooling system problems, sealing internal, external and coolant-to-oil leaks in radiators, freeze plugs, gaskets, heads, blocks and heater cores. It is specially formulated to seal larger leaks better than other stop leak products.

“There’s one reason vehicle owners around the world have relied on Bar’s Leaks Radiator Stop Leak for more than 60 years: It really works,” says Clay Parks, vice president of development for Bar’s Products, manufacturer of Bar’s Leaks.

Bar’s Leaks Heavy Duty Radiator Stop Leak (p/n PLT11) features patented Rhizex pellets that dissolve in minutes to seal cooling system leaks. Bar’s Leaks Heavy Duty Radiator Stop Leak also conditions the cooling system, inhibiting rust and corrosion, lubricating water pump seals and helping to control electrolysis, all of which reduce the risk of engine failure due to overheating or poor lubrication.

Bar’s Leaks Heavy Duty Radiator Stop Leak is compatible with all brands of antifreeze, including conventional green or blue (silicate-based) and extended life red/orange or yellow (OAT/HOAT) coolant. It works safely and effectively on plastic, aluminum and metal radiators, heater cores, blocks, heads, gaskets and freeze plugs.

The product is available to distribution in case packs of six bottles. Use one 11 oz. bottle for 6-, 8- or 10-cylinder gasoline or diesel engines; half a bottle for 4-cylinder engines. Each bottle treats systems up to four gallons.
